Terms of Service
Last updated 14 August 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our stores at sslstore.in and buyssl.in (the “Sites”), both operated by Foxelpie India Pvt Ltd (CIN U72900GJ2020PTC118295, GSTIN 24AAECF3770B1Z2) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing the Sites or placing an order you agree to these Terms together with the applicable Subscriber / Reseller / End-User Agreement of the Certificate Authority that issues your certificate. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites.
Who we are
We are an authorised reseller of SSL/TLS certificates and related web-security products. Certificates are issued by third-party Certificate Authorities (“CAs”) and are subject to their validation requirements, warranties and agreements; we are not the issuing authority. Our registered office is at 202-203 Union Height, Beside Lalbhai Stadium, Vesu, Surat, Gujarat, India 395007, and our operational / correspondence address is Site No. 26 Laskar, Hosur Rd, Chikku Lakshmaiah Layout, Adugodi, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560029.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to place an order. If you order on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Your account
You can order without creating an account first — we create one from your checkout details and email you a link to set a password and manage your certificates. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, for all activity under your account, and for the accuracy of the information you provide for validation.
Orders, pricing and GST
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees. GST is applied according to your place of supply — CGST + SGST for supplies within Gujarat, IGST for other Indian states, and 0% (zero-rated under LUT) for eligible exports and verified SEZ supplies. We may correct pricing or catalogue errors before an order is confirmed. An order is confirmed once your payment is verified through a signed payment-gateway webhook, after which we raise a GST tax invoice.
Payments
Payments are processed by our payment gateways (such as Razorpay). We never see or store your full card details — they are handled by the gateway under its own terms. Certificates are placed with the CA only after your payment is verified.
Validation, issuance and delivery
Certificates are digital products delivered through your account; there is no physical shipment. Issuance is subject to successful domain and/or organisation validation by the CA, and timelines depend on the product and validation type and are not guaranteed. You are responsible for completing validation steps (for example, adding the DNS record we display). Reissues and replacements during a certificate’s validity are provided free where the CA allows it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Sites or any certificate for any unlawful, fraudulent, infringing or abusive purpose, or in breach of the CA’s agreement; not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt or reverse-engineer the Sites; and not to use a certificate for malware, phishing or interception. Certificates obtained through fraud or misrepresentation may be cancelled or revoked without refund.
Intellectual property
The Sites and their content — text, design, logos and software — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Brand names and CA trademarks are the property of their respective owners. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Sites for their intended purpose; no other rights are granted.
Third-party services
Issuance, validation, payment and email delivery rely on third parties (the CA and our certificate provider, payment gateways, and our email provider). Your use of a certificate is also governed by the CA’s Subscriber / End-User Agreement, which you accept when you order. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of these third parties beyond our own reasonable control.
Refunds
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Disclaimers
The Sites are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the Sites will be uninterrupted or error-free. Any relying-party warranty attached to a certificate is provided by the CA under its own terms, not by us.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a certificate or your use of the Sites is limited to the amount you paid us for the certificate or order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and reasonable expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of a certificate, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Sites or an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms or the CA’s agreement, or where required by law. Termination does not affect accrued rights or invoices already raised.
Force majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including CA or provider outages, network or payment-gateway failures, acts of government, or natural events.
Export control
SSL/TLS certificates involve cryptographic technology and may be subject to export-control and sanctions laws. You confirm that you are not located in, and will not use a certificate in, a jurisdiction to which supply is prohibited, and that you are not a person with whom dealing is restricted under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published on the Sites with its “last updated” date; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Orders are governed by the Terms in force when the order is confirmed.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your statutory consumer rights, the courts at Surat, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction. Before commencing proceedings, the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through the grievance process below.
